The draft North School EAW is available for review on the St. Louis County Planning and Development.
The St. Louis County Planning and Development Department is looking for comments on a proposed school site north of Cook. Written comments need to be received by July 14 to be part of the written record. A public hearing is to be held to consider the conditional use application.
A new school building that will combine studients who currently attend the K-12 Orr and Cook schools in the St. Louis County School District 2142 will be up for a formal 30-day public comment period for an environmental assessment workshop and then a public meeting at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 12 in the Northland Office Building in Virginia.
The county’s website at www.co.st-louis.mn.us under the Planning and Development Department, “What’s New” has a copy of the EAW, as do county offices in Virginia, and Duluth.
